This Is Me--2024 A to Z Theme

My A to Z Themes in the past have covered a range of topics and for 2024 the theme is a personal retrospective that I call "I Coulda Been" which is in reference to my job and career arc over my lifetime. I'll be looking at all sorts of occupations that I have done or could have done. Maybe you've done some of these too!

Somebody's Talking About Me

My ears started feeling really hot this morning and I was thinking it was something to do with high blood pressure or something like that.  Then I realized that my ears were burning because someone is talking about me.

If you'd like to know what they're saying, check it out at  the VBT Writers on the Move blog today. I won an opportunity to be profiled on their site and it appears today.   Pretty cool.  My thanks to

Elysabeth Eldering and to Karen  for their help in getting word about Tossing It Out.

  5. Hokey-Smoke! Who is that cool lookin' dude in the shades, fedora, and Hawaiian shirt? Tilt yer head back, stick a bottle of whiskey in yer mouth and put the Statue of Liberty behind ya and you'd have me out-cooled by 28 miles! As it stands now, you've only got me surpassed by 16 tons and 12 miles.

Ohio born, eh? No wonder I like ya. Me dear ol' Ma (R.I.P.) was a product of Ohio, too.

  7. So far that's 7 big thank you to all of you.

Stephan I plan to be going to the Statue of Liberty this upcoming Sunday, but I don't think I'll be doing the whiskey. Besides I'll be the one driving the van with all my wife's family in it-- no drinking while I drive.

  9. Well, rLEE-b, hopefully you knew I wasn't being serious about your drinking whiskey at the Statue Of Liberty. Whiskey is bad for ya, so you should steer clear of it. Snort cocaine there instead and avoid the bloating. Besides, then you won't be "drinking and driving."
