This Is Me--2024 A to Z Theme

My A to Z Themes in the past have covered a range of topics and for 2024 the theme is a personal retrospective that I call "I Coulda Been" which is in reference to my job and career arc over my lifetime. I'll be looking at all sorts of occupations that I have done or could have done. Maybe you've done some of these too!

Something Special This Week!

The first week of my new blogging schedule has finished and I would say successfully.  Had some interesting comments and good participation. But I'm still looking  for more followers for the blog.  I had mentioned, in one of my comments to a reader I think, that I would like to reach 100 followers by the end of this month.  So please dear reader if you haven't already signed up, would you be so kind to just click the follower icon on the side of the page and become a Bird Watcher.

Be checking all this week for some neat stuff.  On Sunday I'll be continuing my prayer series with the installment Why Do You Pray?.  This series is for all thinking people-- you don't have to be religious.  In fact I'd love to hear what anyone has to say about this topic.

On Monday my NaNo update and how I approached some problems I encountered this week and how it all applies to other aspects in life.

I'm real excited about midweek!   On Tuesday I'll be reviewing a CD and a  DVD by a really fine recording artist by the name of Sebastian Sidi.  He's been making quite a name for himself, but I certainly think he deserves more recognition.  Then on Wednesday I'll be posting an interview with Sebastian Sidi.  Please stick with me on this one.  I can almost guarantee that you will be surprised when you learn about this immensely talented artist and you may end up becoming another of the thousands of ardent fans who already follow his career. Don't miss either of these posts.

Thursday will be another debate topic yet to be decided.  Got any ideas to toss out to me?

And Friday??  Well that's a mystery.

My thanks to those who have been following my posts and to anyone who's here for the first time, hope you stay with me!

  1. I look forward to your posts, they are interesting as well as informative and helpful! Especially the ones you have been doing on prayer. I'm doing the blog a day, though I am too late to be on their November blog list. So I'll practice until December. Coming up with, daily, interesting and worthwhile posts is more difficult than I had thought. The daily posts are written on my http://sixtyisjustthebeginning.blogspot.com blog, rather than my writing blog.

  3. Judy and Tamika
Thank you both for your support.
Is there an official list for the "Blog a Day"? I thought that was just a challenge that was raised. If there is a list then I guess I'm not on it either although so far I would qualify!
I think having a varied schedule as I have done helps keep the ideas flowing, but the Friday mysteries may turn into my most difficult ones.
I've been keeping up with both your blogs, Judy and yours, Tamika.

  4. I get a lot of my followers by commenting on othe blog sites, then clicking on people who have also commented. I then click their blog, become a follower, and leave a comment. Repeat process 10 times a day. Many will reciprocate and you'll have 100 followers before you know it.

  5. Thanks for the great suggestion Stephen. I have been doing this, although not as much lately trying to keep up with Nano and all. But I will continue. And thanks for supporting me -- it's kind of like passing through wormholes going from one site to the next.

For Battle of the Bands voting the "Anonymous" commenting option has been made available though this version is the least preferred. If voting using "anonymous" please include in your comment your name (first only is okay) and city you are voting from and the reason you chose the artist you did.
