This Is Me--2024 A to Z Theme

My A to Z Themes in the past have covered a range of topics and for 2025 the theme is a random assemblage of things that are on my mind--or that just pop into my mind. Whatever! Let's just say I'll be "Tossing It Out" for your entertainment or however it is you perceive these things.

MY LAST POST (of 2025) ( #BOTB Results )

It's before Christmas as I post this.  I said I'd do this and now here is my last post of the year.  It's just a Battle of the Bands results post as well as another holiday greeting. Maybe no one will read it or maybe so.  I don't know.  And I'm not thinking about it that much...

Battle of the Bands Results

This is the outcome of my "O Holy Night" Battle between the Lost Dogs and Rebecca St James. Not many attended this show and voted on it so I'll just be brief.  I liked both of these takes quite well, but for my taste I'll have to go with the more traditional version as done by The Lost Dogs.

Final Vote Tally

Lost Dogs                    5 votes

Rebecca St James       2 votes

Merry Christmas!

Hope you all have a wonderful, happy, safe holiday season!  See you next year!

  1. Hi Lee -

Boy, that was a low vote count! The holidays contributed to that, no doubt.

I don't know if you listened to any opera folks doing this classic (per my comment) but if not, give yourself a Christmas treat and listen to Placido Domingo and Luciano Pavarotti singing O Holy Night as a duet. Magnifico!

Merry Christmas, Lee, and have a joyous 2026!

    1. I've heard many versions in many styles of "O Holy Night" over the years. One of my absolute favorites is Michael Crawford with Trans-Siberian Orchestra. I feel like I'm in heaven listening to that one,

Thanks for continuing to support my blogging endeavors. I'm hanging on these days. So many other things to do.
