This Is Me--2024 A to Z Theme

My A to Z Themes in the past have covered a range of topics and for 2024 the theme is a personal retrospective that I call "I Coulda Been" which is in reference to my job and career arc over my lifetime. I'll be looking at all sorts of occupations that I have done or could have done. Maybe you've done some of these too!

A Follow-Up to Second Chances ( #BOTB Results )

Time for my obligatory Battle of the Bands results post.  But since I'm here I'll remind everyone that the annual Blogging from A to Z April Challenge is coming up with preliminary activities starting in March.  Be sure to visit the A to Z Blog for more details as they come in..

And now...

Battle of the Bands Results

My most recent Battle featured three former child television stars who delved into a music career after they stopped being cute little kids.  Personally I liked them all, but my overall preference was David and the Giants.  I used to listen to them a lot back in the eighties and even went to see them in concert in Oak Ridge, Tennessee sometime around 1988.

Not a bad outcome for this three-way Battle.

Final Vote Tally

Beaver and the Trappers     2

David and the Giants          5

Micky Dolenz                     6

Next Battle on Monday March 1

  3. I hate I missed this, in real time. I would have voted for Mickey Dolenz. That recording is brand new to me.

  4. Lee,

I'm on the winning side in this BoTB round. :) It looks like this was a showdown between two of your three artists but it was a good battle. It's all about the fun anyhow. As for the A to Z Challenge I'm still undecided. I guess I will need to make a commitment one way or another soon. Thanks for the reminder. Have a good day, my friend!
