When I think of time I reminisce back to Pink Floyd's lyrics

"Time"

Ticking away the moments that make up a dull day
Fritter and waste the hours in an off-hand way
Kicking around on a piece of ground in your home town
Waiting for someone or something to show you the way

Tired of lying in the sunshine staying home to watch the rain
You are young and life is long and there is time to kill today
And then one day you find ten years have got behind you
No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun

And you run and you run to catch up with the sun but it's sinking
Racing around to come up behind you again
The sun is the same in a relative way, but you're older
Shorter of breath and one day closer to death

Every year is getting shorter, never seem to find the time
Plans that either come to naught or half a page of scribbled lines
Hanging on in quiet desperation is the English way
The time is gone, the song is over, thought I'd something more to say

Natasha
natashamusing

Travel Epiphanies:
Boisterous Fruit Bats
Natashahttp://natashamusing.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-149224757183756660.post-18598209908527062982017-04-05T08:35:45.790-07:002017-04-05T08:35:45.790-07:00Kalpanaa, animals seem to have a certain sense of ...Kalpanaa, animals seem to have a certain sense of schedule or maybe they have an awareness of what humans are doing on their schedule and are able to respond in the moment because they aren't doing anything else more important. I guess I was trying to use my time in constructed fashion of responding to my commenters and then visiting that blogger afterwards but in the early hours I goofed and then my afternoon appointment. I'm sorry for the mishap in failing to use my time right. :( I think regardless if anyone measures time or not, we still have time. Perhaps we wouldn't know it as such but we it would be there. Even God refers to time when the Bible speaks of the creation of the world or how our time isn't the same as His, so it's there and speaking of time I think it's time to go have my morning coffee.
