But the biggest keys for me are evaluating WHY I want to quit and giving myself time to really think it over. I don't seem to be able to recall any of these times right now but I'm sure there are a few. <br /><br />Let's see. Hmmm....(thinking for a few seconds)<br /><br />Oh wait! I got it!<br /><br />I quit trying to learn how to make good pancakes. I've tried to make pancakes on a number of occasions, ever since I was in my late teenage years and every time, I would end up with a batch of either too thin, too lumpy, oddly shaped, burned or slightly uncooked in some areas pancakes and I'd end up in tears because I just couldn't seem to get it right.<br /><br />Last year, or the year before last, I tried it again to no avail. This time, I said "screw it," bought a waffle maker and called it a day.<br /><br />No more pancakes!
