We saw a creature in Addison County, Vermont that we could not figure out what it was. It ran across Route 7 near Middlebury, in front of us at night. It wasn't a deer.. this animal was too hefty for that. It wasn't a bear... it was too lithe and sleek for that. It wasn't a dog... it was too wild for that. So what was it? The answer is I don't know... I only know I had never seen an animal move so fast in my whole life.
