This Is Me--2024 A to Z Theme

My A to Z Themes in the past have covered a range of topics and for 2024 the theme is a personal retrospective that I call "I Coulda Been" which is in reference to my job and career arc over my lifetime. I'll be looking at all sorts of occupations that I have done or could have done. Maybe you've done some of these too!

Moving to the Next Thing ( #BOTB Results)

The next thing on this blog is the results of my most recent Battle of the Bands post.  But first a word...

Once again Jeremy Hawkins has designed a special T shirt to commemorate this year's challenge.

Battle of the Bands Results

This past Battle was the song "My Favorite Things" with versions from a current car commercial and some creepy video by an interesting performer:  Nora Khalif and Joe Raciti.

Nora's version first caught my attention and Joe's fixated it and honed it into an odd fascination.  I liked both versions, but there's more to Joe's version and that's where my vote went.  I guess I'm getting pretty good at this BOTB game.  This Battle stayed very close.

    1. Susan, I don't wear T-shirts that often so it will be around for a while I guess.

  7. That turned out to be an excellent Battle, Lee! I'm surprised Nora pulled so close at the end because while I was following the incoming votes she seemed to be getting clobbered.

A two-vote victory margin is terrific! It barely gets any better'n that.

    See ya on the 15th.

    1. STMcC, I really had no inkling what the outcome might be in this match, but it was satisfying I thought. We'll see if I can retain the close margins in future Battles.

  8. Lee,

Your battle was close. I went with the winner this round. Hooray for me! Great looking 2018 A2Z T-shirt. Jeremy did a good job. :) I can't believe another year is over. How does that happen so fast? Anyhow, thanks for hosting the event and for your support. You truly amaze me. When I grow up I want to be more like you! Have a great week, my friend!
